Cécile Le Ven – The Magician Behind the Levenart Experience


Multidisciplinary Artist, Interior Designer, and Applied Arts Teacher.


I am Cécile Le Ven, an artist, interior designer, and teacher at applied arts colleges in Aix-en-Provence and the Luberon region, between Rustrel and Apt.


My artistic approach is rooted in a dual heritage: a family tradition from Northern France, combining rigor and sensitivity. My father, an insurer, and my grandparents, all trained at the Valenciennes School of Fine Arts, instilled in me a deep passion for art and composition. As a child, I spent hours in their studios, observing, learning, and creating. Today, it is this legacy that I, in turn, wish to share.

A unique residency in Provence


I chose to open a new chapter in my artistic adventure by creating Levenart, an immersive artist residency located in a 1970s Provençal house, completely renovated and decorated by me. Nestled in Apt, in the heart of the Luberon region, this house is a peaceful haven bathed in light, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden with a stone swimming pool, ideal for reconnecting with oneself and creativity.

A transmission rooted in art and materials.


Within this artist residency, I organize small group workshops in a welcoming environment, conducive to concentration and personal exploration.
My teaching approach is based on experimentation with mixed media: watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, dry and oil pastels, alcohol markers, printmaking, and observational drawing. Each workshop is adapted to the student's level and needs, with personalized support.

Ceramics, now at the heart of my practice, allows me to create art objects, furniture, and unique pieces that I present to my interior design clients, as well as in my exhibition space in Aix-en-Provence, "l'Hybride," at 36 rue du Puits Neuf.

Participating in a Levenart workshop means experiencing a complete artistic experience, in a space designed as a work of art in its own right.


You will learn to draw, model, compose, and, above all, to assert your own artistic language. You will be guided in a professional workshop, but also in the garden, at a ceramic table that I have crafted myself, in direct connection with the surrounding nature.

A Customized Artistic Experience – Single Classes or Immersive Residencies in the Luberon


The Levenart agency, founded by Cécile Le Ven, an interior designer and multidisciplinary artist, offers a unique approach to artistic practice, ranging from personalized classes to immersive residencies in Provence.


Two options are available to suit your pace and interests:
PACKAGE 1 / Single Classes – Individual or Group

Want to discover or deepen your artistic practice without committing to several days?
Opt for single classes, offered in Apt, available individually or in small groups. These 3-hour sessions allow you to explore: from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Price: €55 per hour

-Observational drawing

-Watercolor and mixed media

-Charcoal, pastel, alcohol markers

-Figurative or abstract acrylic painting

-Ceramics and object modeling

-Creating designer furniture and objects in clay

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, Cécile will guide you with instruction and kindness to develop your vision, your technique, and your style.


PACKAGE 2: Artist residencies – A total immersion in art

For a complete artistic experience, enjoy a 4-day immersive residency in a Provençal house renovated and decorated by Cécile herself, in the heart of the Luberon, in Apt.

In this 1970s house, completely transformed into a haven of peace, you will be welcomed into a green setting, surrounded by raw materials, unique creations, and a colorful atmosphere.

You will find:

- 4 artistically inspired bedrooms, all different

- Spaces designed for creating, experimenting, and recharging your batteries

- A Mediterranean garden and a stone pool-pond, typical of the landscapes of the South

- Meals prepared on-site at lunchtime, and convivial evenings in the Luberon villages to discover the region's treasures

During your all-inclusive artistic stay, Cécile will guide you through a tailor-made practice tailored to your interests: drawing, painting, ceramics, object creation, or artistic composition.

Whether you're a curious beginner, an experienced artist, or someone passionate about design and materials, you'll find this residence an ideal setting to create without pressure, reconnect with your inspiration, or develop a personal project with attentive guidance.

Creative Residency Workshop – 4 days of immersion in art and nature at Maison 70 in Apt

A warm and elegant artist's home nestled in the Luberon countryside.
Swimming pool, Mediterranean garden, absolute tranquility... a place conducive to creativity and rejuvenation.

Objective of the workshop

To offer a moment of relaxation, away from everyday life, to explore or deepen your artistic practice.
You will be supported throughout your stay in a caring and inspiring atmosphere.

8:30 – 9:30 Gourmet breakfast on the terrace
10:00 – 1:00 Guided creative workshop (drawing, painting, or ceramics)
1:00 – 2:30 Shared home-cooked lunch
2:30 – 5:30 Guided open-ended workshop or personal experimentation
Late afternoon: Free time (reading, swimming, napping, walking, etc.)
Free evenings – dinner not included (many restaurants nearby or the kitchen at Maison 70 is available)
