This creative residency is designed for those who want to fully immerse themselves in an authentic artistic experience, surrounded by beauty and inspiration in the Luberon region of Provence.

 This is not just a ceramic workshop. Here, you will create your own decorative tiles, design indoor or outdoor wall murals, and learn how to play with volumes, patterns, reliefs, and color — all while developing a coherent and personal artistic process.

A Multi-Day Immersive Experience

Because true creativity takes time, this residency is only available as a multi-day experience. This extended format allows you to:

• Develop a meaningful and thoughtful project

• Explore different decorative techniques: slips, oxides, glazes, engraving…

• Dive into artistic principles such as balance between positive and negative space, layering, and rhythmic mural composition

• Draw inspiration from artists such as Roger Capron, Fernand Léger, or Le Corbusier, whose work bridges art and architecture — much like this residency

A Creative Sanctuary: Maison 70

The workshop takes place at Maison 70 in Apt, a bold and colorful 1970s house reimagined as an artistic and creative residency.
You'll stay in a vibrant and inspiring home equipped with:

• A fully functional ceramic studio (pottery wheels, kiln, materials)

• Bright indoor and outdoor spaces to draw, create, and reflect

• A Mediterranean garden, a dipping pool, and a welcoming shared kitchen

• Encounters and conversations with other artists-in-residence

Guided by an Artist & Interior Architect

This unique residency is led by Cécile Le Ven, an interior architect, painter, and ceramic artist.
Her multidisciplinary background ensures that your creations can be imagined not only as standalone pieces, but also as integrated design elements — whether for your home, a garden, or a high-end architectural space.

4 days & 3 nights of artistic immersion in a house with a garden and swimming pool
